Dance Away The Pain
A single dancer, light as rain
Dancing so she feels no pain
A tear rolls down her battered cheek
A peaceful nigh is all she seeks

It's getting late, the shadows play
The sky is just a smudge of gray
The stars will dance across the sky
The wind sounds like a painful sigh

 Beat until she couldn't stand
This wasn't what she had planned
She wanted to dance upon the stage
But couldn't hide from her father's rage

Now she spins without a care
 Dancing for whoever's there
Footprints lead you across the floor
Her ghost fades until she's there no more
