Sadness

Sadness is a vampire waiting to suck out your happiness

As you walk blissfully through the dark it jumps out and bares its fang,
You run in attempt to ward of the feeling
But it’s faster than most other emotions

It grabs hold and sinks its glistening fangs into your supple neck
The sunlight drains from your eyes, and only storm clouds remain
Your glowing persona fades,
And it leaves you alone, like a piece of meat.

So while you dream of sunshine, rainbows, and bunnies, sadness dreams of replacing sunshine with rain, rainbows with lightning, and bunnies with bats.
