I long for that one day to arrive.
The day when zombies are alive.
Most people would run and scream.
I know a few who would laugh and eat ice cream.
Most would consider it like “Dawn of the Dead”,
Some, including me, would consider scaring the undead.
The zombies terrorize the whole town,
LOOK! There’s even a zombie clown!
I once asked a zombie to play jump rope,
He told me yes, as long as we could go scare the pope.
This zombie became my best friend,
Wow, it even started a trend!
All my acquaintances wanted a zombie too,
I told them to go find one in the crowd; just search on through.
We all met amazing zombies that day,
But they bit us and we all screamed “HEY!”
They say once a zombie has bitten you,
You are bound to turn into one too.
We felt a strange feeling inside,
Then we all ran to hide.
An extremely loud noise sounded as if clothes were being torn.
When we all came out of hiding, we all turned into a unicorn!
