The weight of war is so deep
It cuts the heart so steep
As they watch us on televison
You can never feel what we went through
The rough times never felt like it would end
After everthing was said and done
Us soldiers still have a piece of the memory in our mind
The images are so drastic FULL of blood and bombs
When we cant sleep at night
Because dreams keep comin back
And we don’t have no one on our side
Its lonely something you can never feel
You can try help me forget all the awful things
But the past will never FADE AWAY
