As cold as winter, As empty as my heart.

As cold as winter, As empty as my heart.

Propelling forward and falling back.

Being held together and crashing to your knees.

Better than me Better than you.

Happiness with pain, and everything staying the same.

Lies are still lies and the truth is already gone.

Closure is nothing and the world is you ny my side.

Waiting on the door to open and closing on the past.

Feeling more real with every touch, and disappearing fast.

Remembering every word and never opening your mouth.

Giving you all the love I can and you walking away.

Falling asleep with your arms around me, and you pushing me aside for someone new.

But as you leave i surrender and lock up my heart because its forever waiting for you.
