A New Year

January 8, 2008
By Jasmine Marquez, Tahoe Vista, CA

A New Year to come
new fortune is to revive
one is favored,
timely opportune, and blessed
auspicious, propituous,favorable and charmed.
When an old year is left behind so is our clumsyness,
our bad luck, and pain,
our losses, our suffering, and our distress, and
lets not forget about all the
discomfort, affliction, woe, and wretchedness,
our ordeals, tortures,miseries, and anguishes
our agonys, torments and troubles.
Let the new year bring the best,
Stand strong and tall
Think positive to not be brought down
and remember to wear knee pads incase you fall.
