He is not coming back

He is not coming back
but wait mom
I didn’t get to tell him bye and
that I love him
My dad left that night and
I couldn’t sleep at all
I didn’t think he would ever come back
my parents got a divorce and
he didn’t come back
I saw him a few days later
I couldn’t help but cry
because all I could see
is all the things that
could’ve happened without him
even knowing that I loved him so much
I wish I could’ve told him
that I loved him but
this changed my life and
will always be a memory
