Favorite Quote:
i love how people say water has no taste... it tastes like water!

Close to her
he paused to stand
as he took his class ring
off her hand.
All who were watching
didn't dare speak
as a silent tear
ran down his cheek.
All through his mind
the memories ran
of the moments they laughed
and played in the sand
but now her eyes
seemed terribly cold.
He'd never again
have her to hold.
They watched in silence
as he bent near
to whisper "i love you"
softly in her ear.
When touching her face
he started to cry
put on his class ring
and wanted to die.
And just when the wind
began to blow
they lowered her casket
into the snow

my mother wrote this in high school :) I love it so much, I wanted to see what others thought of it.

B.S.!!!!!! This poem was written LONG before your "Mom was in High School"!!!! Unless she's a hundred or so! This poem has been around forever and if you'd stop plagerizing to actually look it up, the Author has ALWAYS been UNKNOWN!!! Nice to give good ol' mom props for it, however, this is NOT anything Original that she would have actually written! Sorry to Burst your bubble! This Poem has been around a whole heck of a lot longer than computers, or GOOGLE!

This poem was not written by your mother but rather by me in 1986.
