Things happen for a reason
We don't know when they are going to happen
and why they happen
That's why you have to notice the great things in life
because before you know it,
they're gone just like that
You lay there wondering
resting your head on the pillow of glass
gazing into the portrait sky
the college of stars
the moon as white as the center of an oreo
you concentrate and wait
for that one moment,
those couple seconds
when you see the shooting star
like a car, a million miles away
speeding at 180
and then it's gone
just like that
