The pain of abandonment
The pain of betrayal
Who better to know these feelings than I
One who was cast away by an evil father
Why must I keep feeling this pain
I wish I would die

And the pain the ruthless mind numbing pain
Years later the pain recedes only to be brought up again
By a young woman whom I loved
Only to have to live with the pain of betrayal
As I found the wretch and best friend together
Betraying my trust……my friendship




Pain? Yes I am no stranger to the emotion
It lets you know you are at the lowest a human can feel
It lets you know that you are alive
Even if you wish you weren’t

The pain! The pain! The pain of it all!
How could a person to have gone through that and
Much more pain be anything but
Broken, depressed, and enraged
