Nebulous
There lies a place within all our hearts
Where the land ends, and the sky starts
Where black and white melt to make gray
And time shifts and molds like clay
Where work and play intertwine
Where everyone has peace of mind
Where sea and land begin to fuse
Our world’s no longer greens and blues
Where love and friendship are spun together
And everyone’s hearts are as light as a feather
Where day and night twist and swirl
Where light and dark begin to blur
Where vines and moss grow up the streets
And everyone walks with bare feet
Where raw earth pokes through the floor
And clouds stumble in through the door
And lightning bugs are caught in jars
So everyone can see near and far
Where reality is a form of imagination
A home for every single creation
Is there such a place, even in our dreams?
Where everything is as swell as it seems?
It’s where I live, and where I’ll stay
Where freedom grows and never strays
