Sorry I’m not perfect,
But I’m sure it’s easy
(Terribly easy,
Like cooking canned soup)
For you to nit pick at my flaws
With no regard to your own
(Which are obvious,
Like dirt stains on white shirts)
In your plastic reading glasses
And skyscraper stiletto heels.
(Ostentatious,
That’s what you are.)
But honey,
I don’t need to be perfect
To be better than you.
(I’m not fake.)
