Pretty and ugly at the same time.

Rocky and Smooth,

Safe but deadly.

It's a million things at once.

Its beauty wraps around me and takes my soul, so I'm frozen in the same spot just staring at it.

That's when i see the white
figure falling. It hits the waterfall with a BANG! and a SPLASH!.
I can see a part of the water starting to turn a different color. The figure is no longer white but a blood red.

After the final SPLASH! my soul snaps back into place and I hear the horrid screams and the pitter-patter of feet all around me. I want to get out of peoples way but at the same time I wanna runaway. I'm afraid to run 'cause I don't wanna get lost.

I don't do either. Instead I go up the wooden stairs and onto the path. As I take deep breaths, I try to forget. Forget what just happened. Forget that I just witnesed death.
