Clarity from Rain
Rain is honest and pure,
It cannot lie.
Every drop a thought
Falling from the sky.
Every thought so clear
That its emotions so through.
Every drop so near,
Its intentions rain true.
What intentions?
What emotions?
For they are all yours.
Blinded by your own site,
They open the door.
The rain is there to be described,
Criticized, hated, and loved.
A mere object to let loose
Your feelings and fears.
To bring about the pain or love
That you bury so deep inside of you.
It’s power so strong,
There is nothing you can do.
