The Roman Empire, big and strong,

From two children born of war,
A naval city of great trade and song.

An army surpassed by none before.

From two children born of war,

The birthplace of European civilization; commanding
An army surpassed by none before,

Until barbarians started their transcending.

The birthplace of European civilization; commanding

An Empire of millions of souls,
Until barbarians started their transcending,

The Romans were on a roll.

An Empire of millions of souls,

A naval city of great trade and song,
The Romans were on a roll,

The Roman Empire, big and strong.
