it's a new
Paint me, sing me, shout to me a story
 A tale of tragic proportions, or not
 A happy tale or something of that lot
 I’ll even take something you know, gory

 As long as it’s you, from you, only you.
 Add some eloquent words, make it pretty;
 Lengthy and long, short, sweet, itty bitty
 I’d love it all; it shall make more than do.

 But not because the writing is un-topped,
 Not even if your words are grand, refined
 Fancy paper can’t and won’t make me woo.

 So don’t worry, I wouldn’t have it swapped,
 For anything—dangerous or benign
 All I want is you, yours, anything true.
