The Differnt One

I walk down that empty hall
a feeling of calm comes to me
there are no children to
laugh
poke
shove
or make me fall.
I am alone
and only alone
am i truly safe.
From the
Embarrassment and cruelty
they force upon me
For i am me
as i stand alone
in this empty hall
wishing for the bell not to ring
and have my safe place
taken from me.
