The deep blue waves seem to come and go
Lapping at my feet, washing sand from my toes.
The suns beating down warming my pale skin
A slight cool breeze cleanses my body from sin.
On a beach in Maui, so beautiful I can’t breath,
The tropical atmosphere made me reluctant to leave.
By the time of departure I nearly changed my mind
But the memories will never truly be left behind.
