Sitting in a room
A room full of darkness
Holding the cold metal
Against my wrist
Wondering if anybody
Would miss me.

I start pressing
The knife to my skin,
Thump, thump
Footsteps coming
Toward me,
The door opens,
Flooding in light.

There in the
Doorway was a boy,
He saw the knife
And said,"Don't."
I said it was too

Blood stream down
My arm now as the
Knife went deeper
And farther as
More blood came.

The blood so red,
My blood,
On everything.

I dropped the knife
It hit the stone floor,
Just a few seconds
Darkness closed in on me
That was how I knew,
Knew I was dead.

I live like twenty minutes away from Statesville! I liked the poem. :) Good job.
