You Cant Break Me

You can't break me, let alone take me,
Take me to a violent place,
And make me feel like life's a waste,
When I have the heart, the soul, and smarts,
This here poetry is more than art,
When times mend rhymes,
Between the lines left here to find,
Is the bruised and confused,
Neglected and used,
Beside the hopeless and faithless,
Because they chose to break the rules.
