i learned how to scream quietly with you.
i learned how to cry without no one seeing.
i learned how to cover my bruises. i learned how to put on a face. i learned how to take the words of hate.
but i never learned how to take away the pain.
i never learned to live without fear.
i never learned that someone could love me.
i never learned about inner happiness.
i never learned about myself.
but that doesn't matter anymore.
nothing maters.
