As I look out the window and see
I wonder how all this got to be
Why do I sit right here
When you are no where near
It’s lonely now with just me
I used to be full of glee
Everything seems so off key
Your farewell ringing in my ear
As I look out
I never said I agree
This will be my final plea
My cheeks stained with goodbye tears
I will miss you lots my dear
With you gone I’ll be full of misery
As I look out
