You call me a hypocrite
And laugh at my face.
You sneer at my God
And all of His grace.

You mock my beliefs
And scorn my creed.
You just don’t understand
The life that I lead.

Saved by grace through faith
Is what the Book says.
Why some would choose different
Is anyone’s guess.

For God so loved the world
That He sent his only Son to die;
He gave His only child
For your soul to buy.

Is it too much to do?
Is it too much to ask?
He gave you your life,
But you won’t give some back.

Don’t get me wrong-
I’m not trying to blame.
You made me think;
I’m just doing the same.
