your color faded
from my eyes
the second you walked
out that door
and never
came
back

the brilliant green
the soothing blue
all seeped from my eyes
the second you
were
gone
forever

we got the phone call
just an hour after you left
to buy milk
and cat food
the kind Mom saw
on sale

so tragic
happens all the time
I’m so sorry
drunk driver
seven twenty-two
right in front
of the store

the stars don’t shine anymore
the earth can’t spin
the sun can’t burn
not without you

Mom and Dad
hold me
close
but nobody
can stop my tears
not without you, sis

I don’t know what to do now
I’m lost
and I’m all alone, sis

all alone without you

help me

I'm sorry. I know you probably hear it all the time....

this is true right....?

I thought the poem was beautifully written.. you could feel the raw emotion.. you portrayed how you felt well, and in a some what dramatic way... which i personally liked:)
