A Different Rose

By
Innocence,
An aura of brightest gold.
A natural shine that lights my heart.
Affection given out like candy,
My soul swells in your presence.

A tickle,
A giggle.
How could I help but adore you?

Silken hair atop your head.
Shoot up, like a single firework.
Chocolate eyes surrounded by the longest lashes,
The kind of eyes that could ask for anything,
And with a bat,
Get it.
A smile that is contagious.

And when she is in the sweetest of mood,
Who could help but love her?
After all of this,
Who would think I would love a two-year-old this much?
