He left his family to fight
He left to do what he thought was right
He fought & struggled through blood,sweat,&tears
He was too brave to show his fears
Then in a second he was gone
He hadn't done anything wrong
He loved the freedom of the USA
So much he fought to keep it that way
He knew it was worth fighting for
He felt it deep in his core
He fought to save his country
To show us all that freedom isn't free
