Snow Day

I woke up one cold snowy day,
Knowing things weren’t going to go my way,
When my mom told me she was going to drive me to school today.
As I hurried to get dressed,
I realized I didn’t study for my math test.
Oh no! My teacher already thinks I’m a pest.
Driving to school hoping my mom forgot the way.
As soon as we arrived , to my mother’s dismay,
It turns out today is a snow day.
