Splendid person, whose soul I devour

December 13, 2007

Splendid person, whose soul I devour,
take mine tonight as I have taken yours
otherwise I won’t live past the hour.

You guide my hand through the seas and the shores,
our lips are sealed together with one kiss.
You’ve lifted me above the oceans floors.

As majestic as a ventriloquist,
your dummy seems to know what’s on my mind
as if you enveloped my soul like mist.

You’re the best person one could ever find,
the only one who would never betray,
the most acceptable of all mankind.

When it all ends, when there’s no night and day,
everything will stand still and we will stay.
