Beckoned to the wolf.

December 13, 2007
By Melinda Cohoon, Tigard, OR

Beckoned to the wolf.
He leads me to the bend.
I wonder where I am being taken.
I wonder when we will reach our destination.

Crooked smiles in the brook.
I see ghostly figures behind the trees.
I wonder when I'll get there, and if I will be pleased.
I wonder if this was the best choice I made, or if I'm mistaken.

Unlike the wolf that is supposedly in lead,
Life is more difficult and it has more obstacles ahead.
I wonder still where I will be, this path of mine and this wolf in lead.
I know I will be happy where ever I go, as long as you are my leader that I love so.
