It pains me to know
That you won’t talk to me
It hurts me to see
You walk past without a wave or a smile

I’m sorry I hurt you
If there was any way to redeem myself
You know I would do it
I would climb a mountain swim in shark infested waters

If you never wish to see me again
Just say it to my face
If you need some time to cool down
I wish time would pass by with speed

I want things to work out
No matter how long I have to wait
The next time I promise
I’ll be a better person

If you have something to say
Please don’t keep me guessing
It’s keeping me from progressing
Just know that this friendship means the world to me
