A warm, gentle hug every night
Your touch soothes and calms
Even though a foot shorter, you tower me in dignity
Your life has strengthened your great heart and mind.

Mother’s love resembles a painting; beautiful yet complex
A warm, gentle hug every night
An unerring example of faith and compassion
Even though a foot shorter, you tower me in dignity

You raised six children, and respected the mothers with only one
Mother’s love resembles a painting; beautiful yet complex
Ingraining in us to never give up, or admit defeat
An unerring example of faith and compassion
