There is hope
The bottle was his only savior
It’s all that was ever there
His parents never caring
Only turning to the hard stuff
He sat there
Going farther and farther away
Not caring
Never caring
Everything gone
There never was anything there
Slowly he realized
Realized there was something
Almost out of reach
But there
Something only people he would make fun of believed
All the preaching making sense
He dropped the Jack on the floor
Pushing his chair back
Rising
Ready to leave his old life behind
The only hope
Is Faith
