Every night I wake up in tears because I dream of you & me,
Walking along the beach side as the sun is setting…
The beautiful scenery makes this the perfect moment,
& the smiles upon our faces prove it all…

We stop & stare into each others eyes,
Neither of us can say a word,
But we already know what the other is thinking…
I want to say the words on my mind,
But I can’t find the breath to say them,
So I stand in silence hoping my eyes tell you everything…

I wrap my arms around you as I move in closer,
I take a look into your beautiful eyes & then I go in for the kill…
I kiss your lips & then pull away,
Scared & apprehensive, I stare into your eyes & then look down at the ground…
You lift my head & give me a passionate kiss,
I’m scared & don’t know what to do but stand there & kiss you back…

It begins to rain & you’re still locked onto me,
Now I feel as if this is a love movie…
Finally you release my lips & stare me in the eyes as the rain is trickling down our faces,
You open up your mouth & out come the words, “I Love You…”

I look you in the eyes unable to say it back,
As I begin to move my lips, you gently place your finger on them & you say, “Shhh… Just enjoy the moment baby…”
You remove your finger & yet again give me a passionate kiss…
In the midst of the kiss, I begin to cry & then I wake up,
Tears streaming down my face as I sit in the dark,
& wonder where we went wrong… </3
