Stop assuming you do
For you don’t
You might have had depression
Maybe even anxiety too
And it could have been worse
But I doubt you’ve met him face to face
Having him grab your wrist
With his icy hands
And leave burns representing courage
I also doubt you’ve had him in your head
Spraying yours eyes with pepper
Leaving stains down your face
Representing hope
I also doubt he pretended to be your mom
Tell you a lie you believe
Causing you to trip
Causing you to have bruises
Representing he will be back
To make you stronger
