So sweet it sounds this special word when placed upon my lips
When said to me it delights my ears and fills my soul with bliss
This word is not elaborate or clever or a rhyme
Yet like sugar on my tonuge it makes me smile every time
I mention how dear this word is to my heart
It aches because for so long we have been apart
But the time is near when we'll reunite and I'll no longer be alone
My eyes will welcome joyful tears as my heart sings "I am home!"
