And take in the Packer Hall of Fame, where legends like Nitschke, Starr, and Hutson are honored.
Jealousy should walk each row of historic Lambeau Field,
Where the famous “Ice Bowl” was played,
Where the Pack has won over 12 league championships,
Where the people work together as a whole to run the team, not just one owner.
Jealousy should watch a Packers game,
On the bleachers, not in luxury suites or padded seats.
And watch legends in the making, like Driver, Rodgers, and Matthews
play for their one goal,
the trophy named after one of their own.
Jealousy should admire the beauty of the atmosphere,
The whole town out supporting their one and only team,
With the parking lot packed with tailgaters, grilling the occasional brat with sauerkraut, and a cold Miller to go along with it.
But Jealousy can’t understand the historical tradition,
Or the town coming together as one,
Or take in the true beauty Lambeau and the Packers create as one,
So Jealousy should just go take its ass back to Soldier Field in Chicago.
