Reflection
A knife pierces through her soul,
She has lost all control.
The truth has been revealed,
She is far from being healed.
She is still holding on though,
But wants to let go.
She is in this too deep,
Restless nights and no sleep.
She covers up her scars once more,
It was her heart that tore.
She looks into a mirror and sees her reflection,
It is clear she's been affected by this moral infection.
Yet, she tries to move on with her life,
But can't ignore all the strife.
And the ringing in her ears becomes a threat,
As she realizes that nothing is louder than regret.
