November 17, 2007
The morning sun leaps
into my eyes
causing the familiar feeling to return. . .
Pounding headache.
upset stomach.
never-ending grogginess.
I’ve experienced it all before.
Today
I won’t even
attempt
to fight it off.
I pull the covers
over my head
and drift back to sleep.
