A Glimpse of Me
The violent crash of the waves and the flow of the soft water are both liberating,
the silence when I close my eyes realizing, there is...
“Only the ocean and me”
The compulsion to dance, but if only there were...
“Oh well here comes the music”
The music carries me away to a world among the clouds, and the stars... and I lift my head and
“When I look up at the stars it feels good”
The smiles I bring to others warm my heart when I volunteer
helping those who need help the most, although my obligation is to help them,
I learn and grow from their smiling faces
I preach, “It’s time to turn your love, and give it back”
When I struggle through difficult days I am thankful that my mother is still here because
“She gives me presents with her presence alone”
I love the crisp mountain air in Utah among the tall aspen trees and gliding across the perfectly glistening snow, on a snowboard and the sound of the board grasping ice as one of my best friends is right along with me as we are thinking
“It’s always better when we’re together!”
I care for the beautiful environment we are so blessed to inhabit and I tell everyone,
“Reduce! Reuse! Recycle!”
I love laughing along with family and friends, enjoying life as we sing,
“Times like these and times like those...”
