Life’s Hidden Treasures

November 10, 2007
The feel of a washed clean sheet
gently blowing in the breeze or
the taste of sweet lemon juice
just freshly squeezed or
the warmth of a sweater
during mid winter’s wrath or
the nice clean feeling of taking
a warm bubble bath or
the tight securing hugs
of a mother to a child or
the rush of letting your hair down
and just running wild or
the pitter pat of rain
coaxing you into sleep or
the embracing silence
when nobody makes a peep or
These are life’s hidden treasures,
That are meant to be found.
All you have to do is open your eyes,
and look around.
