Eyes.
We can only see with open eyes
I can only see beneath your lies
For the shortest time before we fall
Sink in deeper, consume it all
Clear and glazed
I see right through
Every move you attempt to do
Keep them shut, so we won’t see
The reflection you conceal from me
The waves reside within you
As they fight to leave your lids
They scream the words you won’t dare to say
Revealing all your tongue forbids
Sleeping somber let them rest
Until they can truly view
The world that they have yet to see
And let them rescue you
