Wall Street Journal Poem
I took a road trip
 To find Ann Zimmerman.
 For more than 43 years
I’ve tried to find my sister.
 It’s been lonely,
 Very lonely.

 24 years of estrangement
 From six brothers and sisters.
My life has been of crime and depression
 This problem is not common
 For my own attack
 Has lead to imprisonment

 I was convicted and shackled
To that life of emotional and physical burdens
I’ve tried to find Ann Zimmerman
 Now looking in Baton Rouge.
 She, my ex rape victim,
 Will be my new fiancé.
