Reflections Of Ones Self
I wake up every morning
I look into the mirror...
What I am use to seeing is a disgrace,
a daughter in which a mother hates,
a face in which I hated,
a evil monster that was created,
A smile that faded into the ocean of sorrow and grief,
A smile that got lost along the way of this long journey we here call life,
But this morning was different...
I woke up this morning
I looked in to the mirror...
What I seen was a girl turning over a new leaf,
a daughter just trying to fix her mothers frown and turn it upside down,
An ugly monster that turned into Cinderella and now is getting ready for the ball
A smile with no confidence to a smile that is 10 feet long,
A girl that isn't begging to be loved but is loved by all she has,
A girl who finally feels good about her self and hopes with all her heart that this reflection lasts...
