Who Holds the Leash?
The oceans off the earth dripped dry
Salty soil and crops can’t grow
The airplanes poked holes through the sky
Yielding through the night, insomniatic glow
And we have built our shrines
Twentieth Century achievements
Licking sand out of gold mines
Wealth in dollars, not sense
Great minds think alike
But greater minds think differently
Ball of clay psyche
In anamorphic algae
