I am from darkness
From streets and allys
I am from Rise Against and Yellow card
From orders and fear.
Fear I let not control me
I am from fighting back
From war and truth.
You do not understand.
I am from Mike and Amy Davis
From No money and the "Get a jobs"
I am From the darkness
Yet I have survived.
I am from the piece of light
inside of the darkness.
I am from LA The Bayou State.
From the marsh lands
The animals so beautiful.
From the place I do not belong
The place I don't fit.
I am from the Jigsaw puzzle
The piece that was never found
From light and darkness
From a deep sleep with endless dreams.
