Drifting

When I felt that tear hit my leg,
I wondered how you could treat me like I’m dead
You thought I couldn’t hear your voice betray
You thought my door held everything away
But the truth is, I heard all of that poison
Every word, every lying reason.
I’m drifting out of this world I once knew
All those lies I never believed are now so true
