My Hero

My hero sets me free
From all the things in life that hold me
My life is incomplete without him
Without him, my life grows dim
He is my shining light
He shines so bright in the midst of the night
He is my love, my light, my way
Whenever I need him to comfort me
I just have to get down on my knees and pray
Jesus is my hero
