I can do better
all been raised wrong so they all scrwed up.
Only had they momma cause they daddy locked up.
There are crack heads roaming the streets
And drug dealers who refuse to leave.
Police who don't care
And no life kids who'll get nowhere.
Gang bangers always recruiting,
Leading to deaths, cause they always shooting,
I know it best, cause it's the hood I grew up in.
Aint proud to say it but I am hood raised.
So you could say im very aggressive
but from the hood life I've grown astray
I thought i could do better than this
so i rose above and got good grades
If i work real hard and the best is what i give
I'll leave it all behind for better one day.
so this is not the life my kid will live.
