It’s hip to be a kid again
Hooray for childhood days.
It’s cool to bring back your favorite toys
And the lunchbox long retired.
So dig through the closet and find that doll
The one you used to hug
It’s playtime again
So go ahead, pretend
You’re a princess or a doctor.
Watch those old cartoons again
The classics feel brand new
Like something inside released
From the kid in heart within.
It’s hip to be a kid again,
Reinvigorate your dreams.
Cover up that cold abyss with glitter and play dough.
Hooray for childhood days,
When hope is still young and ripe,
It’s not too late, remember, and bring them back to life.
