I’m not a cholo
I’m not in gangs
Just because I’m Latino

I don’t have papers
I’m not poor
And I don’t live in a house with 30 people
Just because I’m Latino
I’m not going to graduate from high school
I don’t have to be good in soccer
And I don’t work in a taco stand
Just because I’m Latino
It doesn’t mean your smarter then me better then me
Or even going to have a better job then me
Just because I’m Latino
Why does it matter to you if I’m Latino?
